Membership Inclusions

Your monthly or yearly membership fee includes the following services:

  • Up to 10 content pages per website

  • One (1) day website audit and refresh upon initial purchase of your monthly membership, or

  • Three (3) day website audit and refresh upon initial purchase of your yearly membership

  • Four (4) website strategy sessions for Yearly Membership subscribers only

  • Stock photography

  • Photo galleries

  • Social media integration

  • Buttons, URL links, and download links

  • Forms

  • Responsive mobile design

  • SEO best practices

  • SSL Certificate

  • Custom favicon

Membership Exclusions

Your membership fee does not include the following features:

  • E-Commerce / online stores

  • Scheduling/Appointments

  • Email Marketing

  • Custom coding (may be added to aid the design at our discretion)

  • Code injections or APIs (Application Programmable Interfaces)

  • Member / customer accounts

Any of the above mentioned features may be added to your membership for an additional monthly fee. See our Popular Add-Ons.

Membership Cancellation

All website management monthly memberships are ‘no contract, with no obligation; cancel at any time’. Yearly website management memberships may be cancelled prior to your yearly renewal date.

Your website and its contents remain the property of webcoda after any cancelled membership. There are no additional fees to cancel your membership. Your website will be take offline and all content will remain the property of webcoda. To maintain your website content, a transfer of ownership may be requested.

To cancel or transfer ownership of your website, send a written request to help@webcoda.ca.

Transfer of Ownership

If you decide to cancel your website management membership and would like to obtain ownership of the website, you may request a transfer of ownership. The fee to transfer ownership of a website is $275.00 plus taxes.

Once a website transfer of ownership is completed, webcoda assumes no responsibility for website management, including but not limited to domain renewals, Squarespace membership fees, and any other billings negotiated as part of your membership with webcoda.

Membership Payments

Monthly membership payments are billed on the first of each month. Prorated amounts will be generated for your first month of membership (if applicable). Yearly memberships are billed on the date of your membership anniversary. In the event of a missed payment, billing will be attempted five (5) business days following your missed payment. You are responsible to maintain up to date account and billing information and will be notified of any failed payment attempts.

Your website will be taken offline after three (3) failed payment attempts. Any and all website content will remain the property of webcoda. Upon payment of an outstanding account, your website will be reinstated.

Web Design, Domains & Hosting

Web design is completed by webcoda, supported by the interactive user interface provided by Squarespace.
Domain names and hosting services are procured through Squarespace, and managed by webcoda. Any questions regarding domain registration and ownership can be directed to help@webcoda.ca.

By accepting website management by webcoa, you also accept and agree to abide by Squarespace Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

Website Access, Copyright & Content Ownership

WEBSITE ACCESS

By purchasing a website management membership, you agree to forfeit any access to your website. As a website management service, webcoda will have exclusive access to edit, modify, and update your website content. To update your website content or to make changes, email help@webcoda.ca.

Email and GSuite accounts do not apply.

COPYRIGHT

All content published and made available on your website is subject to applicable copyright law.

CONTENT OWNERSHIP

It will be assumed that all content supplied to webcoda is owned by you or that you have explicit permission to use for personal or commercial purposes. Any content found to be not your own and/or that you do not have permission to use, and results in any legal action(s), you agree that any action(s) taken as a result of the content misuse will be your sole responsibility.

In the event webcoda publishes and/or provides content to your website, we shall ensure all content use permissions have been granted.

Privacy & Use of Information

Providing information to webcoda will be used solely for the purpose of providing the services outlined in your membership. Your personal, business and/or organizational information while you are a client of webcoda. We will ask for the following information for invoicing, payments and providing exceptional customer service:

  • First and last name

  • Company/Organization name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Billing Address

  • Credit card information

Credit card information is processed via Stripe.

USE OF INFORMATION

We will never ask for personal or financial information over the phone.
We do not sell or share information to any other party unless legally obligated.
Cookies are used to enhance your online experience while visiting the webcoda website.
